Integrative Nutrition Counseling
Being well-nourished and emotionally satisfied by the food we eat can be really challenging when there are so many opinions out there about what and how we SHOULD eat. As integrative and functional dietitians/ nutritionists, we use an approach that doesn’t just look to manage or prevent a disease, but takes a deeper look at the root causes, genetic predisposition, physiological, psychological and interdependent factors that contribute to disease. With this information, we help you find the eating style that works best for YOU and YOUR body so that you can feel your best.
We utilize principles of Intuitive Eating, Eating Competence, and Health at Every Size to help clients be in-tune with internal appetite cues and achieve health from the inside out.
WHO: General adult nutrition appointments can be scheduled with Erica Harsch, CNS or Geanna Revell, RDN. Eating disorder appointments can be scheduled with Raven Bonnar-Pizzorno, RDN or Stephanie Voytek, RDN.
WHERE: Appointments available in-person at our Seattle office or via video calls (aka telehealth) to clients in Washington and certain other states. See our FAQ page for more info.
HOW OFTEN: The frequency of appointments is dependent upon your current nutrition status and goals. Most clients are seen every 2-4 weeks. It is common to meet more frequently in the beginning and then less frequently as time goes by. Nutrition counseling is most effective when you have regular appointments to check in on progress, receive nutrition guidance and develop new goals.
